FLUSH AND FILL INSPECTION TECHNICIAN

Position Description Conduct incoming/final inspection of PDT products ensuring all visual, mechanical and electrical testing results are within specification. When necessary, after inspection conduct flush, filling and pressure testing of control lines ensuring fluid cleanliness levels are acceptable. All inspection and testing will be recorded in accordance with all PDT processes and procedures.
Verify all products shipped to customer meet all customer and PDT packaging requirements.

Primary Responsibilities Inspection of Mechanical components.
Inspection of Electrical components.
Conduct inspection/FAT testing at 3rd party facilities.
Perform pressure testing, flushing, filling and filtering processes on control lines ensuring NAS cleanliness results meet applicable requirements.
Ensure product is suitable for delivery to customer. Verify final products meet customer and company delivery requirements.
Ensure workspace, warehouse and yard are kept clean.
To aid the projects team in all aspects of ensuring customer deliveries are met at the discretion of the General Manager.
Any other activities determined by the Operations Manager.
Secondary Responsibilities Spooling cable / control line with a quality level wind.
Build wooden shipping pallets and lag reels.
Conduct inspection/FAT testing at 3rd party facilities.
Loading and unloading of equipment.
Pick-up and delivery of equipment as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
Assist with development projects.
Inspect, assemble, coat and pack cable protectors.
Proactively identify and communicate requirements to maintain warehouse operations.
General Responsibilities Ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved and where practicable exceeded.
Ensure that the requirements of the Management System are implemented and complied with in all respects.
Actively demonstrate and encourage correct health and safety and environmental behavior within the facility and at all work locations.
Be personally accountable for the QHSE performance within area of responsibility.
Contribute to the continual improvement of the Quality Management System.


Minimum Required Competencies
Required Knowledge, Experience and Education HS Diploma or 5 years equivalent work experience
Hands on electrical and mechanical experience with a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
Working knowledge of various types of electronic and mechanical testing equipment.
Experience using hydrostatic pressure testing equipment
Skills Working knowledge of the following software: Internet Explorer, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software products as introduced into the work scope.
Strong organizational/ and communication/presentation skills are essential.
Abilities Must be a self-starter with strong attention to safety, detail, effective time management and the ability to be flexible when priorities change.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and cooperative effort.

Work Environment This position is designed to be approximately 90% office, 10% external travel when required
Exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and work related chemicals will be particular to warehouse activities
Some lifting, bending and reaching will be part of the work scope.
Training Competency Training will be provided for the PDT Management System and PDT Health and Safety Policies.
