Job Summary
We are seeking a Pump Mechanic / Equipment Technician to perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on pumping and related mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication on equipment and vehicles.

  • Disassemble and reassemble pump systems using hand tools and lifting equipment.

  • Operate and inspect rental or branch equipment to identify issues or mechanical defects.

  • Overhaul, rebuild, and test equipment to ensure reliable operation and efficiency.

  • Examine mechanical components for wear or damage, and repair or replace as necessary.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems related to pumping equipment.

  • Conduct performance testing after repairs to confirm proper functionality and compliance with specifications.

  • Perform light fabrication and welding tasks when needed.

  • Order, track, and maintain inventory of parts and service materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant mechanical or equipment service experience required.

  • Experience with diesel engines, pumps, and pipeline or fluid-handling equipment preferred.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic and service software for industrial or diesel equipment a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer service–oriented with the ability to represent the company professionally.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
