Job Description

Seeking Fabricator, a large manufacturing company in Northwest Houston. If you are an individual that can fabricate in and outside of a jig along MIG welding, that is detail oriented, a team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, please submit your resume for further consideration.

Schedule: 1st shift- overtime and weekends required as needed
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 an hour DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Fabricating and MIG welds based on project needs on automotive products
  • Maximizes resources and meets all production goals by working with another team member.
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
  • Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by adhering to all company and OSHA safety and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Practices safe working habits by checking all safety devices and procedures are operating properly and being used.
  • Suggests improvements in work methods and procedures by presenting ideas to supervisors and management personnel.
  • Troubleshoots work-related problems by participating in meetings and asking co-workers, supervisors, and management personnel
  • when confronted with problems that may not have been encountered before.

What you bring to the table:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3 years of work-related experience as an Fabricator
