NORTHWEST MANUFACTURER LOOKING FOR A FABRICATOR /Forming Automotive Parts!
TEMP TO HIRE
630am-6pm NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS AS NEEDED
Seeking Production ALUMINUM Fabricator /MIG Welders. If you are an individual that is detail oriented, a team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please submit your resume for further consideration. A Production MIG Welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform Fabricating and MIG welds based on project needs on automotive products
Maximizes resources and meets all production goals by working with another team member.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by adhering to all company and OSHA safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Practices safe working habits by checking all safety devices and procedures are operating properly and being used.
Suggests improvements in work methods and procedures by presenting ideas to supervisors and management personnel.
Troubleshoots work-related problems by participating in meetings and asking co-workers, supervisors, and management personnel
when confronted with problems that may not have been encountered before.
Experience
Fabrication experience utilizing fixtures and jigs are required
2-5 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
Welding and fabrication experience with tubular material is preferred.
Pipe/tube fitting
MIG Welding /Tublar steel inside a jig and apply heat to product.
Fixture Assembly
Spot Welding
Tubing Welding
Arc Welding
Cosmetic W elding
Fabricating Forming Automotive Metal Parts
Working with fixtures and jigs.
Tubular MIG-Steel Welding
Tack Welding required.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to use a tape measure and calculate fractions.
Ability to visualize projects and put together timelines and processes to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Professional Certification (welding certificate) will be a plus
* Minimum 5+ years of work-related experience as an ALUMINUM Fabricator
* Must be flexible with work schedule/ hours
* Must have reliable transportation
* Light lifting
* Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
* Deftness and attention to detail
* Impeccable Attendance a MUST
Salary: $23.00+/HR /DOE Step Scale
Bilingual is a plus not required.
