Experienced Commercial Restoration Caulker
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $25.00–$28.00/hour, DOE
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Caulker for restoration, repair, and waterproofing projects throughout the San Antonio area. This is not a new-construction position. We are specifically looking for someone experienced working on existing commercial buildings, including removing and replacing aged, deteriorated, or failed sealants.
Responsibilities:

Remove existing caulking and deteriorated sealants

Clean and properly prepare joints and surfaces for new material
-
Install backer rod and apply commercial-grade sealants
-
Caulk expansion/control joints, windows, doors, masonry, concrete, wall systems, and other building components
-
Perform waterproofing and weather-sealing repairs
-
Identify cracks, failed joints, gaps, and potential water-intrusion areas
-
Produce clean, consistent, professional finished joints
-
Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and/or scissor lifts as required
-
Protect existing finished surfaces and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
-
Previous professional commercial caulking experience required
-
Restoration/re-caulking experience on existing buildings strongly preferred
-
Experience cutting out and replacing existing sealant
-
Knowledge of silicone, polyurethane, backer rod, joint preparation, and commercial sealant applications
-
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
-
Ability to perform detailed, high-quality finish caulking
-
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
-
Ability to safely perform physically demanding work
Pay: $25–$28/hour, depending on experience
This is an experienced-level position. We are looking for candidates who can step onto a commercial restoration project and perform quality caulking and sealant work with minimal training.
