Join Our Dynamic Team as an Entry Level Submittal Drafter!

Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of architectural drafting? Do you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail? If so, we want you to join our team as a full-time Submittal Drafter!




Position: Submittal Drafter
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm

Full-time (our main office hours are 7-4 pm) 

Pay: $24/hr.

As a Submittal Drafter, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented team members, and grow both personally and professionally in a supportive environment.




Job Overview: As a Submittal Drafter, you'll be at the forefront of transforming architectural visions into reality. Your main responsibilities will include creating detailed submittal packets using various software tools, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. You'll work closely with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness while incorporating product knowledge into your drawings to meet company standards.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed elevation drawings based on client-provided information.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop precise 2D elevations and details.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness of submittal packets.
  • Apply dimensioning principles to ensure proper functionality of products.
  • Review and revise drawings based on client feedback.
  • Generate spreadsheets for door frame systems, incorporating project-specific information.
  • Maintain organized documentation of drawings and project-related information.




Qualifications:
  • Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of AutoCAD (required)
  • Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (required)
  • Ability to read and navigate architectural drawings (required)
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Preferably, six months to one year or more of related work experience.




Education:
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) minimum.
