This position coordinates daily delivery routes for a fleet of five trucks and works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Shipping Department to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily routes for five trucks, maximizing efficiency and on-time deliveries.
Monitor driver locations and delivery progress using GPS or tracking systems.
Communicate route changes, delays, and urgent updates to drivers throughout the day.
Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to confirm order accuracy, loading readiness, shipment priorities, and pickup and delivery schedules.
Communicate shortages, delays, and operational issues to the appropriate departments.
Respond to customer inquiries about delivery status and scheduling, and proactively communicate delivery windows or changes.
Resolve delivery concerns and customer complaints professionally.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver assignments, manifests, load sheets, and dispatch records.
Track delivery performance and report issues or opportunities to improve route efficiency.
Monitor truck availability, maintenance needs, and driver schedules.
Reinforce safety procedures and support shipping operations with paperwork, data entry, and coordination as needed.
1–3 years of dispatching, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, adjust priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
Familiarity with route-planning tools or GPS tracking systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Basic proficiency with Excel, email, and dispatch software.
Knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations is a plus.
Availability to work beyond 3:00 PM when operational needs require.
