Job Description
LK Jordan is currently hiring for a Desktop Analyst that will serve as the primary point of contact for all technical issues within an assigned campus. Pay rate starts at $20- $21 hourly. Schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm. Some overtime as needed. The position is expected to start the first week in August.
Essential Functions:

Diagnose and resolve nonrecurring issues with application software and operating system; determine root cause of issue down to registry level.

Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computers, printers and VoIP phones.

Create and document alternative methods of completing tasks while correcting system inconsistencies to improve the department functionality.

Maintain inventory of installed software, manage licenses and follow/create policies and procedures for software upgrades.

Work with various vendors to ensure contracted work is completed at campuses on time and operational prior to sign off.

Ensure computers interconnect seamlessly with the network, including validation of file, email, application and administrative servers.

Knowledge of scripting methodology to install desktop applications and environment settings.

Install and terminate Ethernet cabling in accordance with industry standards.

Collaborate with team members to document technical issues and submit revisions to policies and procedures.

Configuring, maintaining, and modifying Windows 10 environment.

Build/configure/maintain equipment check-out procedures and manage asset tracking software for the school's one to one initiative.

Establish a working relationship with Principals to build and maintain technical budgets as directed by Director of Technology.
Requirements:

High school diploma (or recognized equivalent)

Minimum (3) three years’ experience diagnosing software, hardware, and network problems preferred

Microsoft Certification preferred

Experience in an educational environment preferred

Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by employee.
