Job Description
Fast growing HVAC company looking for Controller to be a key part of the executive management team for its expansion throughout the United States. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. With the insight of the executive management team, the Controller will help guide the financial performance of the company along with planning and maintaining its fiscal stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes and other financial reports.
Maintaining the general ledger, payroll and taxes.
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
Report analysis and findings to management team.
Manage the accounting team | HR, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA preferred.
Previous experience in executive management and working in the HVAC or related industry, preferred.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail and deadline-oriented.
About the Company
Corporate office located in Dallas, Texas, with regional offices in Virginia and Florida with Technicians strategically located throughout the US. Benefits include: health, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K. Two weeks paid vacation and three personal days per year. Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and overtime as needed.
