LK Jordan & Associates are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a well know client (banking industry) in the Dallas, TX area. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our financial strategy. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of financial leadership in the banking industry.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the bank's overall business objectives and drive sustainable growth.

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, providing insightful forecasts, budget analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making.

  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring the bank operates within regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

  • Manage liquidity, investments, and cash flow to support the bank's operations and strategic initiatives.

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

  • Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights and contribute to overall business strategy and decision-making.

  • Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance (preferred), accounting, business administration or a related field

  • CPA or CMA designation required.

  • Has handled >$1B in assets

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles within the banking industry required.

  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Expert proficiency in excel modeling and regression.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
