Opportunity: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Non-Sterile Compounding
Location: Houston, TX (Zip Code: 77003)
Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (No Nights, No Weekends)
Compensation: $16.50 – $17.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Are you a certified pharmacy technician looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with a consistent schedule and no late-night shifts? We’re currently hiring for a non-sterile compounding role in Houston, TX!
This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail who can work efficiently in a team setting. We provide hands-on training, and prior experience in compounding is not required.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform drug calculations and compound medications into various forms (liquids, ointments, chewables, capsules)
- Carefully follow detailed instructions to ensure accurate compounding
- Label and document medications, maintaining precise logs
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
- Stay on top of deadlines and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (please provide license # when applying)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform drug calculations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 lbs
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Must live within a 45-minute commute of downtown Houston (Zip Code 77003)
