Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Set-up and manage Stone CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
Oversee the machine while it executes the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
Conduct regular Stone CNC machine assessments and maintenance.
Adjust and reprogram controls.
Sharpen and/or replace worn tools.
Call for repairs when needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Take measurements and have the knowledge to use various scale conversions.
Commitment to adhere to our company s safety rules and guidelines by attending all required meetings and certification training.
Knowledge of the Stone CNC machining processes of drilling, milling, and turning.
Able to operate bridge saws, splitters, forklifts, and cranes.
Demonstrates attention to detail.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a CNC Machine Operator preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
