LK Jordan is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III for an immediate opening. This role requires advanced machining skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:
5-AXIS CNC EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Position Summary
The CNC Machinist III is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and material specifications.
Plan machining operations, verify stock, and anticipate material needs.
Program mills and lathes, including setting zero/reference points, offsets, tool registers, and part program verification.
Set up tooling, fixtures, chucks, collets, vices, and attachments.
Operate and maintain 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Inspect first-run and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programming, replace tools, and maintain quality standards.
Perform preventive maintenance and follow equipment operating procedures.
Document production activities and ensure smooth shift-to-shift communication.
Assist with continuous improvement and support department goals.

Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of machining/manufacturing experience
Proven 5-axis CNC machining experience (non-negotiable)
Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends
Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry skills
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints
Must report fit-for-duty and maintain a professional appearance
Preferred:
Experience in power generation, rotating equipment, or industrial manufacturing
