Business/Real Estate Attorney - Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business/Real Estate Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in Corpus Christi, TX. This on-site role offers a flexible compensation structure based on the attorney’s ability to generate and manage business.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and documents related to business and real estate transactions.

Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, title issues, zoning, and environmental considerations.

Represent clients in negotiations.

Provide strategic legal advice and develop solutions tailored to clients' needs.

Oversee transactions from inception to closing.

Develop and review agreements involving stakeholders, investors, sellers, purchasers, and joint ventures.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations related to real estate development, construction, entity formation, and governance.

Offer legal guidance on risk management, contract enforcement, and dispute resolution.

Conduct legal research and stay current on laws and regulations impacting the real estate and business sectors.

Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Admission to the Texas State Bar.

At least 7 years of experience in real estate and/or business law.

Board certification in areas such as Commercial Real Estate Law, Residential Real Estate, Farm and Ranch Real Estate Law, Construction Law, or Property Owners Association Law is preferred but not required.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in legal research and writing.
