We are growing in Austin and want you to join our team! L.K. Jordan & Associates is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) who can lead our sales efforts both inside and outside of the office. We are seeking a motivated, goal-focused individual who knows how to build and maintain relationships and increase sales. Compensation package that includes a highly competitive salary and both monthly commission and quarterly performance bonus components.
This position will identify new business within the community and establish business relationships that contribute to the company’s continued growth within the Austin market. The position will work closely with our branch to develop sales strategy and enhance service offerings to new and existing client companies. This position is full time and will require 50% of the time in the field and 50% in the office. Sales is expected to come in Monday through Friday at 8:00am and return to the office after appointments by 4:00pm each day.
Applicant should be proactive, enjoy meeting new people, and be money-motivated.
While working as a BDM for L.K. Jordan & Associates, duties will include, but not be limited to:
Protecting and promoting the brand, image, and reputation of the Company while striving to exceed the needs and expectations of our clients and employees.
Responsible for building new business for our company by contacting existing clients and prospective clients to assess and assist with their staffing needs; marketing and selling our services to potential clients, including making regular daily and weekly prospecting and marketing calls to prospective clients from a variety of sources; sourcing and recruiting high quality candidates for placement; developing and maintaining a network of contacts to provide candidates and leads on available positions which may produce job orders and candidates for our firm; establishing and maintaining community contacts through community involvement and organizations; and performing other duties as assigned.
Work within strict ethical guidelines and with a service mentality in all conduct, communications, and actions.
Participate in projects and duties associated with our overall sales and marketing efforts.
Education and Experience Guidelines:
Have service sales/marketing experience.
Have at least 5+ years of professional experience.
College education preferred.
Prior experience in the staffing industry will be placed in the highest consideration.
Highly Competitive Base Salary (DOE) plus monthly commission and quarterly performance bonuses.
