Assembly Technician – Water Treatment Systems
Location: North Houston, TX
Pay: $19–$24 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
LK Jordan is hiring an Assembly Technician to build industrial water treatment and reverse osmosis (RO) systems. This hands-on role is a strong fit for someone with PVC piping experience and a mechanical assembly, plumbing, or industrial equipment background. Water treatment experience is preferred but not required.

Experience with RO systems, skid-mounted equipment, stainless steel tubing, basic wiring, or forklifts is a plus. Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, glue, and install PVC and CPVC piping, fittings, and valves.
- Assemble piping manifolds and mount pumps, filters, gauges, pressure vessels, and other components onto skids or frames.
- Follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and assembly instructions.
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and equipment modifications.
- Assist with pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, quality checks, and shipment preparation.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with PVC piping and fittings is required.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, plumbing, piping, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to measure accurately, follow basic drawings, and troubleshoot mechanical or piping issues.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to handle materials associated with assembly work.
