Staff Accountant
Join our Accounting/Finance Department in San Antonio as a Staff Accountant responsible for general ledger work, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role supports month-end closings, investment tracking, and audit preparation. Ideal for experienced accountants with a strong understanding of GAAP. This is a full-time, onsite position, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with flexibility for alternative hours such as 8–5 or 9–6, based on manager approval. Pay ranges from $23.24 to $34.87 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities

Perform general ledger, branch accounting, and monthly reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial reports for month, quarter, and year-end closings.

Assist with managing investments, cash flow, and budget planning.

Support quarterly regulatory reporting and tax filings.

Collaborate with team members on audits, special projects, and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of accounting experience; financial institution background preferred.

Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems.

Must be bondable and able to exercise sound judgment.
