Job Description
Job Title: Instrumentation Project Engineer
Duration: 1-2 years, with potential for extension based on upcoming projects
Projects:
-
Redundant Instruments Initiative: Enhance the reliability and availability of critical instrumentation through the implementation of redundant systems.
-
Analyzer and MassSpec Improvements: Optimize the performance and availability of gas analyzing and sampling systems.
-
Additional Support: Provide engineering expertise for other projects involving instrumentation as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Documentation:
-
Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and technical specifications for instrumentation projects.

Review and evaluate proposals and engineering designs to ensure they meet project requirements.
Collaboration and Coordination:
-
Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure project success.

Oversee and coordinate the commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
Project Management:

Adhere to the CIPM (Certified International Project Manager) methodology for effective project management and execution.
System and Data Management:
-
Upload and review Bill of Materials (BOM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, spare parts inventories, manuals, and technical drawings in SAP.
Qualifications:

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation.

Proven experience in managing instrumentation projects.

Strong ability to develop technical documentation and specifications.

Familiarity with SAP and project management methodologies.

Salary is $110K plus depending on experience
