Job Description


Job Title: Instrumentation Project Engineer

 

Duration: 1-2 years, with potential for extension based on upcoming projects

 

Projects:

  • Redundant Instruments Initiative: Enhance the reliability and availability of critical instrumentation through the implementation of redundant systems.

  • Analyzer and MassSpec Improvements: Optimize the performance and availability of gas analyzing and sampling systems.

  • Additional Support: Provide engineering expertise for other projects involving instrumentation as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning and Documentation:

  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and technical specifications for instrumentation projects.

  • Review and evaluate proposals and engineering designs to ensure they meet project requirements.

 

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure project success.

  • Oversee and coordinate the commissioning of new instrumentation systems.

 

Project Management:

  • Adhere to the CIPM (Certified International Project Manager) methodology for effective project management and execution.

 

System and Data Management:

  • Upload and review Bill of Materials (BOM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, spare parts inventories, manuals, and technical drawings in SAP.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation.

  • Proven experience in managing instrumentation projects.

  • Strong ability to develop technical documentation and specifications.

  • Familiarity with SAP and project management methodologies.

  • TWIC

 

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 

Salary is $110K plus depending on experience
