Job Description
LK Jordan is currently seeking a Transactional Paralegal near the Shavano Park area. This role will provide administrative and legal support to the Transactional Attorneys by assisting in preparing, organizing, and managing legal documents. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role is crucial to the team in ensuring smooth and efficient legal operations. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8:30am- 5:30pm and pay range is $21-$25 depending on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting due diligence investigations, including organizing documents and compiling relevant information. Summarize and organize due diligence findings for attorney review.
• Managing and organizing large volumes of documents, including electronically stored information (ESI). This may involve creating and maintaining document databases.
• Facilitating communication and coordination between attorneys, clients, and other parties. This may involve scheduling meetings and conference calls.
• Prepare and format transaction related documents, such as contracts, real estate documents and business-related documents. Draft routine correspondence and notices to clients and other parties.
• Providing general administrative support to the legal team, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Paralegal degree or certificate.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a transactional paralegal or in a relevant legal support role.
• Completion of a background check and drug screen.
