Material Handler / Band Saw Operator / Structural Fitter
? Katy, TX |? $24 – $28 per hour + Overtime
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler / Band Saw Operator / Structural Fitter to join our client’s team in Katy, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay & Schedule:
$24 – $28 per hour
Expectation of 10+ overtime hours weekly
Some weeks may require 30+ overtime hours depending on workload
Responsibilities:
Receive, handle, and cut raw materials according to specifications
Fit and assemble materials into finished structural components
Operate band saws, plasma torches, acetylene torches, and related equipment
Safely move materials using cranes, pallet jacks, or forklifts
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with blueprints
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Forklift and Overhead Crane experience required
Bandsaw, plasma torch, and acetylene torch experience
Positive attitude with an aptitude for learning new skills
Working Conditions:
Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements
Moderate to high safety precautions required
Production environment with physical demands
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
