Trailer Technician - Houston, TX

We are currently looking for a Trailer Technician to support our operations by performing essential maintenance and repair work on semi-trailers. The position is focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of trailer systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailer systems in accordance with safety regulations.
- Replace components such as brakes, hubs, seals, and bearings.
- Diagnose and fix issues with electrical systems and lighting.
- Repair or install structural elements, including springs, axles, and framework components.
- Maintain and repair mud flaps, dolly legs, and related chassis components.
- Conduct repairs or replacements on trailer flooring, doors, and side panels.
- Perform welding and work on various trailer parts, including roofs and body panels.
- Follow strict safety and health standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in trailer maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical skills or hands-on experience in areas like construction or equipment repair.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to bring your own tools to the job.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and performing physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary.
Schedule: M-F. 8am-5pm
Compensation:
- $18-$20
