Job Description

Our client is a leading distributor of Carbon and Stainless Pipe, Fittings and Flanges.
1st shift 7: 30am -4: 30pm
Pay $18

Responsibilities:
Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
Participate in routine visual inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Ability to enter data into report
*Must have PVF (Pipes, Valves, Flanges) experience to be considered

Qualifications:
At least 6 months experience
Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
Forklift experience Must be able to do simple math
Ability to interpret technical product specs Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)

Work Environment:
Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the workday.
Safety boots required
