Job Description


Job Summary: We're on the lookout for a talented Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, your primary role will be the installation, assembly, and maintenance of various pipe systems. Your expertise in stick welding, proficiency in blueprint interpretation, and strict adherence to industry standards will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our pipe installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and assemble pipes and pipe systems as per blueprints, specifications, and industry codes

  • Utilize hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes

  • Employ stick welding techniques for pipe welding

  • Accurately measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading

  • Interpret blueprints to determine pipe layouts and configurations

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed pipe systems for leaks or defects

  • Collaborate closely with team members to streamline project completion

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pipefitter

  • Profound understanding of pipefitting codes, standards, and regulations

  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Skill in using measuring tools like calipers for precise measurements

  • Excellent welding skills, particularly in stick welding

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous

  • Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools

  • Physical fitness to handle tasks involving heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or kneeling
