Job Description

LK Jordan is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on campus at a charter school on the far westside. This is a full time position, Monday Friday and will go permanent based on performance. Pay rate is $21 hourly!

Job Duties:
Performs general facility maintenance and repair, including repairing woodwork; replacing electrical switches, fixtures, and motors; painting, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures and drainage systems; and replacing broken glass.
Hangs pictures, mirrors, blackboards, bulletin boards, projection screens, towel dispensers, soap dispensers, and other items as requested.
Assists with moving furnishings, such as desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, etc.
Conducts all repairs as assigned by work order or supervisor.
Transports equipment and furniture as needed.
Installs ceiling and flooring materials.
Installs door and window assemblies and hardware, including window glass and screens.

Requirements:
Completion of a background check and drug test
Valid driver' s license and reliable transportation
Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
High School Diploma or GED.
