Heavy Civil Construction client is seeking an Asphalt/Paving Superintendent in the East TX area.

The Asphalt/Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of paving operations on construction sites. This role includes managing crews, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asphalt paving, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of paving crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
  • Plan and schedule paving operations, including equipment and material procurement.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.




Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Asphalt Paving “Highways” specifically is must.
  • Valid driver’s license: Company vehicle and gas card provided
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
