Sit-Down Forklift Operator Temp to Hire Role near Jersey Village

2nd shift (4pm - 2am)
Orientation every Monday
Training every Tuesday

Forklift operators
These roles are Temp to hire in location zip code: 77484
Pay starts at $16hr
Position titles include: Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Safely transport products within the warehouse or production area
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities and perform inventory counts
- Perform order picking using a forklift or pallet jack
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience operating a lift truck, preferably with mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, such as pallet jacks and hi-lo machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in a fast-paced environment
